3 Weeks old - already!!!

It is very hard to believe it has been 3 weeks already since little Harry arrived! In so many ways it feels like he has been here forever, but in others it just seems like yesterday! All very surreal really, we are just so blessed to have him. Here are some photos of Harry on his big 3 week birthday!

Tummy Time?!?

Now that Harry is such a big boy our midwife suggested that he was ready to start trying tummy time! So Mum and Dad thought they would give this a go with little Harry on Sunday, well as you can see we think he was just a little too tried!! So sweet!! But after some time on the floor kicking around we gave it another go and he seemed to enjoy it - we didn't have the camera there for that bit!!

Playtime

Yesterday Harry had his first playtime on his activity gym from Nana and Grandad. He seemed to really enjoy it and lasted a good 20 minutes having playtime. He enjoyed kicking the snail at his feet to make the crackle noises.

Later on in the afternoon some friends came around to meet Harry, Tony and Lisa enjoyed cuddles with a sleepy boy. We are looking forward to meeting their little girl in September.

Today Harry and Mum heading out to an antenatal group afternoon tea at one of the Mum's houses. It was our first afternoon tea with the group since Harry arrived. Harry was a model baby and everyone was very impressed with how settled he was, he happily sat on my knee for an hour checking things out and the other babies! Such a good boy!!! He seemed to enjoy getting dressed up in the gorgeous little outfit from Sharon from Mum's work, he looks like a big boy already!!!

Well Harry is now 2 weeks and 2 days old. He is doing really well, weighing in on his 2 week birthday at a very healthy 4.19kg!! Here are some pics from over the last week.

Daddy's Boy

Daddy sadly went back to work this week and Harry has been missing him heaps! Harry seems to know when Daddy is due home and ensures that he is up to greet him! However, the excitement often seems to be too much for Harry who promptly falls asleep on Daddy! As you can see he is one happy boy when Daddy gets home though!

Now that Harry is a big boy and is settled at home he has been able to start receiving visitors!! He is enjoying meeting more family and friends, and it has only just begun!!

First Bath at home

Today after a visit from the midwife (in which his weight is now back above his birth weight), Harry had his first bath at home this morning with a very nervous Mum and Dad. Harry took it all in his stride being very brave, and we managed not to drop the slippery baby so all was good!
